தங்க சிங்கம் ( Gloden Lion)

ஒரு நாட்டில் ஓர் அரசர் இருந்தார். அவருக்கு பேரழகு உடைய ஓர் இளவரசி இருந்தார். அந்த இளவரசி ஒரு நாள் அரண்மனை தோட்டத்தில் தன் தோழளிகளுடன் விளையாடிக் கொண்டிருந்தாள்.

அப்பொழுது ஒரு மாயாவி அவளின் அழகில் மயங்கி தன் இருப்பிடத்திற்கு தூக்கிச் சென்று விட்டான்.

இதை மற்ற தோழிகள் அரசனிடம் கூறினர். இதைக் கேட்ட அரசர் செய்வது அறியாமல் இருந்தார்.

பிறகு நீண்ட யோசனைக்கு பின் அரசர் ஒர் ஆணையை வெளியிடுக்கிறார்.

 அதாவது எட்டு நாட்களுக்குள் தனது மகளைக் கண்டிபிடிப்படுக்குத் தன் மகளைத் திருமணம் செய்து வைப்பதாகவும், தன் இராஜ்ஜியத்தில் பாதி தருவதாக அறிவித்தார்.

இதில் வீரம் தீரமும் மிக்க ஒரு இளைஞன், இளவரசியைக் கண்டுபிடிக்க முன் வந்தான். அவன் பல இடங்களில் தேடி அலைந்து.

இளவரசி இருக்கும் இருப்பிடத்தை கண்டு அறிந்தான்.

அந்த இடம் யாரும் நுழைய முடியாத அளவுக்கு மந்திர தந்திர மிக்க இடமாக இருந்தது.

அதில் நுழைய பலவித முயற்சிகள் செய்தும் பின்னடைவு அடைந்த அந்த இளைஞன், அடுத்த என்ன செய்வது யோசனையில் இருந்தான்.

அப்பொமுது, அந்த வழியாக ஒரு வயதான பெண்ணை வருவதைக் கண்ட அந்த இளைஞன்.

அவளிடம் விவரம் அறிய அவளை வழிமறித்து அந்த இருப்பிடத்திலிருக்கும் இளவரசியை மீட்க வேண்டி யோசனைக் கேட்டான்.

அவளும் உதவி செய்வதாக உறுதி கூறினார்.

அதற்கு நீங்கள் இசையை இசைக்கும் ஒரு தங்க சிங்கத்தின் சிலையை வாங்க வேண்டும் என்றும் அந்த சிலை இரு ஆள் மறையும் அளவுக்கு பெரிதாக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று அப்பெண் அவனிடம் சொன்னாள்.

அதன் படி அதுபோல் ஒரு சிலையை செய்து முடித்ததும், அந்த இளைஞகனை உள்ளே ஒளிய வைத்தாள்.

அந்த முதியவள் அதைக் கொண்டு போய் அந்த மாயாவிடம் இசைக்கும் தங்கச் சிங்கத்தைக் காட்டினாள்.

அதன் இசையில் மயங்கிய மாயாவி, அதை தனக்கு தரும்படி கேட்டான். அதற்கு

அந்த முதியவள் இதை விற்றாள் இதன் மகத்துவம் குறைந்துவிடும் ஆதனால் உமக்கு ஒர் இரவு மட்டும் இதை வைத்துக் கொள்ள அனுமதி தருகிறேன் என்றாள்.

அன்று இரவு மட்டும் அதை இருக்க செய்தாள். அதிலிருந்த இளைஞன் வெளிவந்து இளவரசி இருப்பிடத்தை அறிந்து அவளை காப்பாற்றி, அந்த சிங்கத்திற்குள் இருவரும் ஒழிந்துக் கொண்டனார்.

மறுநாள், அந்த முதியவள் சிங்கத்தை எடுத்துச் சென்றாள். பின்பு அந்த சிங்கத்தில் இருந்து வெளிவந்த இருவரும். தன் நாட்டிற்கு சென்று இளவரசியை இளைஞன் அரசரிடம் ஒப்படைத்தான்.

அரசனும் மகிழ்ச்சி அடைந்து தன் கூறிய படி இளவரசியை அந்த இளைஞனுக்கு திருமணம் முடித்து வைத்தார். தன் ஆட்சியில் பாதியை அவனுக்கு கொடுத்தார்.

 She told him that for that you should buy a golden lion statue that plays music and the statue should be big enough to hide two people.

Accordingly, after making a similar statue, she hid the young man inside.

 The old woman took it and showed the Maya the golden lion that was playing.

 Mesmerized by its music, Mayavi asked for it. For that

 The old woman sold it and said that its greatness will diminish so I will allow you to keep it for one night only.

 She made it stay that night only. The young man came out and saved the princess by knowing where she was, and both of them disappeared into the lion.

 The next day, the old woman took the lion away. Then the two came out of that lion. The young man went to his country and handed over the princess to the king.

 The king was also happy and married the princess to the young man as per his request. He gave him half of his kingdom.
