விவசாயின் பழிவாங்கல்

விவசாயி ஒருவர் நிறையே கோழிகளை வளர்த்து வந்தார். அங்கே தினமும் ஒரு நரி வந்து கோழிகளை பிடித்துக் கொண்டு சென்று விடுகிறது. இதனால் நரியின் மேல் கோபம் கொண்ட விவசாயி.

அதை எப்படியும் பிடித்துவிட வேண்டும் என்று முடிவு செய்தான். அதன் படி ஒரு நாள் இரவு பண்ணையில் பதுங்கி காத்திருந்தான்.

நரி வந்தபொழுது அதன் மேல் சாக்கு போர்த்தி லபக்கென்று பிடித்து விட்டான். அதற்கு இனி இந்த பக்கம் வராத மாதிரி ஒரு தண்டனை கொடுக்க எண்ணினான். அதன் வாலில் மண்ணெண்ணையில் நனைத்தத் துணியைச் சுற்றித் தீயைப் பற்ற வைத்து விட்டான்.

நரி ஊளையிட்டப்படி  விவசாயின் வயலுக்குள் ஒடியது. அது அறுவடை காலம் என்பதால் பயிர்கள் நல்ல காய்ந்து இருந்தன.

ஆதலால் நரி வாலில் இருந்த நெருப்பு பயிர்கள் மேல் பட்டு தீப்பற்றி எரிந்து. பயிர்கள் அனைத்தும் கருகிப்போயின.

விவசாயிக்கு நரியைப் பழி வாாங்கியதில் அவருக்கே அது வினையாக முடிந்தது.

நீதி: " பிறரைப் பழி வாங்கும் போது முதலில் தனக்குத் துன்பம் வாரமல் கவனித்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும்".

A farmer used to raise a lot of chickens. Every day a fox comes there and takes away the chickens. The farmer is angry with the fox because of this.

 He decided to catch it anyway. Accordingly, one night he hid in the farm and waited.

 When the fox came, he wrapped a sack over it and caught it. He intended to give it a punishment such that it would never come to this side again. He put a piece of cloth soaked in kerosene around its tail and set it on fire.

 The fox howled and burst into the farmer's field. As it was the harvest season, the crops were well dried.

 So the fire in the fox's tail spread over the crops and caught fire. All the crops were burnt.

 The farmer's revenge on the fox ended up being his own.
