பீர்பாலின் ஒவியம்

ஒரு நாள் மன்னர் அக்பர், பீர்பாலை அழைத்து.

 "எனக்கு ஒரு ஒவியம் வரைந்து ஒரு வாரத்தில் கொண்டு வா"என்று கட்டளையிட்டார்.

இதைக் கேட்ட பீர்பால் அதிர்ச்சியடைந்தார், மன்னா நான் அமைச்சர் எப்படி என்னால் ஒவியம் வரைய முடியும்?

இந்தப் பதிலைக் கேட்ட அக்பர் கோபம் அடைகிறார். நீங்கள் இந்த ஒரு வாரத்திற்குள் வரையவில்லை எனில் உமக்கு தூக்கு உறுதி என்று கூறினார்.

பீர்பாலுக்கு ஒரு யோசனை வருகிறது. ஒரு வாரம் கழித்து, துணியால் சுற்றப்பட்ட ஒவியத்துடன் சபைக்கு வருகிறார்.

அந்த ஒவியத்தை எடுத்து அக்பரிடம் காண்பித்தார். அதைப் பார்த்த அக்பருக்கு  ஆச்சரியமாக இருந்தது. அதில் தரை மற்றும் வானத்தின் ஒவியத்தைத் தவிர வேறு எதுவுமில்லை.

" இது என்ன பீர்பால்?" பேரரசர் அக்பர் கேட்கிறாார்.

மாமன்னரே, இது என் கற்பனையில் வரைந்த ஓவியம். நீங்கள் பார்க்கிறபடி இரு ஒரு மாடு புல் தின்னும் ஒவியம்.

" ஆனால் பசுவும், புல்லும் எங்கே? " என்று கோபமடைந்த அக்பர் கேட்கிறார்.

" புல்லை மாடு தின்றுவிட்டது".

"அப்படியானால் மாடு எங்கே?"

" மகா மன்னரே, இப்போது பசு புல்லையெல்லாம் தின்றுவிட்டதால், ஒரு தரிசு நிலத்தில் அதற்கு என்ன வேலை? அது தான் அந்த பசு தன் கொட்டகைக்கு கிளம்பி விட்டது".

One day King Akbar called Birbal.

  "Draw me a sketch and bring it in a week," he ordered.

 Hearing this, Birpal was shocked, Manna I am minister how can I draw a picture?

 Hearing this answer, Akbar gets angry. He said that if you do not draw within this one week, you will be hanged.

 Birbal gets an idea. A week later, he comes to the congregation with the painting wrapped in cloth.

 He took the painting and showed it to Akbar. Akbar was surprised to see it. It contains nothing but a picture of the earth and the sky.

 "What is this Beerpal?" Emperor Akbar asks.

 Father in law, this is a painting of my imagination. As you can see, two cows are eating grass.

 "But where is the cow and the grass?" asks an angry Akbar.

 "The cow has eaten the grass".

 "So where's the cow?"

 "Great King, now that the cow has eaten all the grass, what is the use of it in a barren land? That is why the cow has left for its shed".
