அலட்சியம்..!
ஒரு அரசன் தன் நாட்டு மக்களுக்கு ஒர் போட்டி ஒன்றை அறிவித்தான்.அந்த போட்டியில் வெல்வருக்கு தன் அழகிய மகளை திருமணம் செய் செய்து தருவதாக அறிவித்தார்.
ஆதலால் அதில் கலந்துக் கொள்ள பல இளைஞர்கள் ஆர்வம் அடைந்தனர். அவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் போட்டிகள் நடந்தன. ஆனால் இறுதியாக ஒரு இளைஞன் மட்டும் தேர்வுப் பெற்றான்.
கடைசியாக, அந்த இளைஞனுக்கு அரசர் ஒர் வித்தியாசமான போட்டி ஒன்றை அறிவித்தார். நான் வளர்க்கும் மூன்று காளைகளை அடுத்தடுத்து அவிழ்த்து விடுவேன். அதில் ஏதாவது ஒன்றின் வாலை நீ தொட்டால் போதும், நீயே என் மகளுக்கு கணவன் என்றார்.
அந்த இளைஞன் மிக கடினமான போட்டியில் எல்லாம் தேர்ச்சி பெற்றோம். இது என்ன சாதரணம்! என்று அலட்சியத்துடன் இருந்தான்.
மாடுகள் அடைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த தொழுவத்தின் கதவுகள் திறந்தது.
அரசர் வளர்க்கும் மாடு என்றால் சும்மாவா, முதலில் ஒரு மாடு வந்தது. அது பெயருக்கு தான் மாடு, அது ஒரு யானை மாதிரி இருந்தது. அதைக் கண்டு மிரண்ட இளைஞன் அதன் அருகில் வர தயங்கினான்.அந்த மாடு வந்த வேகத்தில் தடுப்பைத் தாண்டி மின்னல் வேகத்தில் ஒடியது. அது தான் இன்னும் இரண்டு மாடுகள் இருக்கிறது என்று மேலும் அலட்சியமாக இருந்தான்.
இரண்டாவது மாடு வந்தது. அதையும் அவன் பிடிக்க இயலவில்லை. கடைசியாக வந்த மாடு மிகவும் மெலிந்து இருந்தது. இதை எப்படியும் அதன் வாலைத் தொட்டு விட வேண்டும். வேகமாக மாட்டின் வாலை பிடிக்க பாய்ந்தான். என்னவொரு ஏமாற்றம் அந்த மாட்டுக்கு வாலே இல்லை. பிறகு அவன் அலட்சியத்தாலும், தற்பெருமையாலும் இளவரசியை மணம் முடிக்கும் வாய்ப்பை இழந்தான்.
இந்தவொரு காரியத்திலும் அலட்சியம், தற்பெருமை கூடாது.
