பிறருக்கு நல்ல நினைத்தால் நமக்கும் நல்லதே நடக்கும்.

ஒரு அரசருக்கு மூன்று மகன்கள்.. தனக்கு பின் நாட்டை யார் கையில் கொடுப்பது? என்பதற்காக அவர்களை அழைத்து ஒரு போட்டி வைத்தார்..

காட்டிற்கு சென்று ஒரு சாக்கு நிறைய இரண்டு வாரங்களுக்கு தேவையான உணவை கொண்டு வந்து ஆளுக்கொரு ஏழைக்கு அவ்வுணவை கொடுக்க வேண்டும்.

ஆனால் மூட்டையை எனக்கு பிரித்துக் காட்ட தேவையில்லை என்றார் அரசர்.

முதலாமவன் மரத்தில் ஏறி நல்ல பழங்களை பொறுக்கி மூட்டை கட்டிக்கொண்டான்.

இரண்டாமவன் சோம்பல் பட்டு கீழே விழுந்த அழுகிய பழங்களை பொறுக்கி  மூட்டை கட்டினான்.

மூன்றாமவன்  ஏழைக்குத்தானே கொடுக்கப்போகிறோம் என்று அலட்சியமாக கீழே கிடந்த குப்பைகளை அள்ளி மூட்டைகளாக கட்டிக்கொண்டான்.

மூவரும் ராஜாவிடம் சென்றனர். பின்னர் ராஜா தம் மூன்று மகன்களிடமும் நான் சொன்ன ஏழைகள் வேறு யாரும் இல்லை... நீங்கள்தான்.

நீங்கள் கொண்டு வந்ததை இரண்டு வாரங்களுக்கு நீங்கள் சாப்பிடுங்கள் என்று கூறினார்.

நல்ல பழங்களை கொண்டு வந்தவன் அதை சாப்பிட்டு அரசன் ஆனான்.

நீதி: பிறருக்கு நல்ல நினைத்தால் நமக்கும் நல்லதே நடக்கும்.

A king has three sons.. Who will hand over the country after him? He called them and held a competition.

 The first man climbed the tree and gathered good fruits and tied a bundle.

 The second one got lazy and picked up the rotten fruits that fell down and made a bundle.

 The third man took the garbage lying on the ground and tied it into bundles, saying that he was going to give it to the poor.

 All three went to the king. Then the king said to his three sons that the poor are none other than you.

 He said you eat what you bring for two weeks.

 He who brought good fruits ate them and became a king.
