பூசணிக்காய் திருடர்
ஒரு ஊரில் மிகப்பெரிய செல்வந்தர் ஒருவர் வாழ்ந்து வந்தார். அவருக்கு பூசணிக்காய் என்றால் ரெம்ப பிடிக்கும்.
ஒரு நாள் பக்கத்து வீட்டிலிருந்து ஒரு பூசணிக்காயை அவர்களுக்கு தெரியமால் எடுத்து விட்டார் அதாவது திருடி விட்டார்.
இது ஊர் அனைவருக்கு தெரிய வர, அன்று முதல் பெரிய வீடு என மாறி பூசணி திருடர் வீடு ஆயின.
பல தலைமுறைகள் கழித்தும் பெயர் மாறவில்லை. இப்பொழுது அந்த வீட்டில் அவர் பேரன் வாழ்ந்து வருகிறான். அவர் காதுபடவும் பலர் பூசணிக்காய் திருடர் வீட்டை தாண்டி சென்றால் அந்த கோயில் வரும் என்பது போல் விலாசம் கொடுத்தனர்.
இதை கேட்ட அந்த பணக்காரர் தாத்தா தெரியாமல் செய்த தவறுக்காக நாம் ஏன் திருடர் பட்டத்தோடு வாழ வேண்டும் என்று எண்ணி ஒரு ஞானியை நாடி சென்றார்.
அவரிடம் நடந்ததை கூறி அதை மாற்ற வழியும் கேட்டார். அதற்கு ஞானி, உன் வீட்டில் தினமும் நூறு போருக்கு சாப்பாடு போடு என்று சொல்லி அனுப்பி வைத்தார்.
அன்று முதல் அவரும் நூறு போருக்கு சாப்பாடுப் போட ஆரம்பித்தார். அது வெகு விரைவில், அவர் காதுபட கேட்டார். அந்த தச்சர் வீடு எங்கு உள்ளது என்று கேட்க ஒருவர் கூறினார், ஒரு சோறு போடுற ஒரு பெரிய வீடு உள்ளது. அதிலிருந்து மூன்றாவது வீடு என்று விலாசம் கூறினர் மிகவும் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் திரும்பினார்.
நீதி: நல்லதை செய் தவறு தானாக மறையும் என்பதே!
A very rich man lived in a town. He loves pumpkin.
